Very touching testimony about losses of loved ones. I lost my dearest mum to a very abusive man but when he died a decade later sober, no longer chain-smoking, apologising to everyone about how he had lived with mum - only God knows what his end was like, and if he will be a surprise entry to heaven. So, I feel for you at the loss of your sons: that must have been hard but in one of Pastor Doug’s sermons, he told about an air hostess who saw him looking at the young man’s picture. She asked Pastor Doug who he was, and I can almost visualise that encounter when he told her, “That was our boy; we lost him”. And in his pastoral manner, he said, “She touched me”…..: Pastor Doug touches me in so many different way and I always pray for his strength, health to continue doing what he does for God. May he be blessed always in Jesus’s name. And his wife, the rest of his family, all at AF minister

Great message and love the sharing of your experiences every time Ps Doug. Regarding the story of the crucifixion in the Philippines, I believe it is Pampanga or Pangasinan? Not too sure as well. But having mentioned that, I know that many people in the Philippines chose to be crucified several times so that they may be free from guilt and sin, as payment for their sin for the previous year if I am not wrong but sadly, whatever they do and have done, I believe it is nothing compared to the suffering and crucifixion of Jesus on the cross. From my understanding, Jesus’ flesh was like “ground meat” when He was whipped with torture instruments similar to the movie the Passion of Christ. I don’t think those who went through the crucifixion in the Philippines have gone that far, that their bones would show due to the torture. But it is interesting how different people understand the crucifixion and the purpose of why they do it.
