when you start looking great and muscles start popping out you don't even have to use heavy weights to impress anyone. your results are more impressive than any load on bar

I'm going to try the cable tricep extension again, but this time I will line up the pulley to be parallel to my shoulder-to-elbow angle. Thanks Doug!

@14:00 ... Talks about injury, joint pain ... so why does Doug recommend the tricep skull crushers when this exercise gives a lot of people elbow problems?
@AjaychinuShah5 күн бұрын
For the Barbell Landmine you’ll need five gallons of lubricants on the joints for The Force Transmission to be effective with maximal Force Production.

Great video ! Thank you ! Maybe in the future you can do a video or videos of routine's for people who have injured both their knees or shoulders. Both of my knees are shot. Need knee replacement in my left knee and my right knee has a meniscus tear for the second time.

Question for Doug. Everything I read states that above 15 reps gives ever diminishing returns for hypertrophy directly. The gains on a 50 rep set would be muscular endurance with minimal size. Have I misunderstood something or does he perform his 50 rep set in a special way? I would like Doug to be right on this as this would limit the final weight lifted and reduce the damage to the body, but I can't find anyone writing that this is a good idea for hypertrophy.

i think the reason, although there is merit in his logic, that people train the way they do is simply because they love training. I love getting sore and hitting muscles from different angles. I enjoy squatting, hack squatting, lunging, and leg pressing all during one leg session because its fun. if we all trained in perfect opposite position and did only the best exercise i think it would take the fun out of training.
