Doug is such a genuine person. He speaks very well. Clear concise and very easy to follow.

They had the balls to make a decision they knew would cause backlash. Mike Brown is not a good coach, he fell into a much more talented roster than we give them credit for.

@@alexriley2553100% agree. So sick of people saying he's a good coach. He didn't start Monk for two years when it was the obvious move. He gave Keon multiple DNPCDs. He refused to change his flawed defense to more of a switching and trapping defense like Doug is doing. Worst of all, he would rather throw his players under the bus than make these easy adjustments. He was awful

@@thomasevans530 there’s a lot of things Mike brown did wrong. But malik monk not starting … was never the problem. He played that role great for this team. The problem was heurter not playing like year 1. It’s easy to say monk needed to start , but why switch it up when it was working the first 2 years. Plus wit heurter , it’s not that easy to just throw a shooter that we pay good money for like that just on the bench while monk was getting paid bench player type of money. And to a certain extent, I thank MB for keeping monk as a 6th man. If he started all last season he would’ve got a BAG offered for him that we wouldn’t be able to afford and a BAG that monk wouldn’t be able to say no to. This year, it also made sense not to start monk just yet, to try to get Heurter back and going for one. And the bench has no production other than monk. But with Heurter still not playing well, it was best to just go all in with monk in starting 5. And MB did that? So I don’t agree or understand on to knock MB for doing that. A lot of fans still don’t agree with monk starting, the yo-yo minutes with Keon was the problem with Mike brown and production on court. But with the guard heavy team, I understand why Keon doesn’t play as much . But to get 12 mins or DNP with Mike brown is def unacceptable

Can one of y'all take Kayte's spot? But on a more positive note, I didn't know Doug was this good as a coach but I'm happy King's fan. Hope to shake Doug's hand one day and thank him

Their pacing reminds me of the Sacramento Scores aka Cardiac Kings.

I purchased season passes for last year and this year. I got the following points after the first 10 Kings games of this season: 1) put Huerter on bench 2) start Monk 3) play Ellis more 4) Sabonis needs to improve free throw and him move under the basket

Is there a reason why you guys refuse to talk Xs and Os? You had the head coach on and it's all about cliche raw raw stuff? Crazy to me when there are VERY tangible things that he has changed that are working wonders and have been the primary factors in why we are successful all of the sudden. Defensively we are switching screens and trapping instead of Mike Brown's unrealistic, broken, fight through screens nonsense that yielded record three pointers against every night. Offensively, we are running FAR less DHO and much more pick and roll. Also are really emphasizing pushing the pace and playing fast. Rotationally, Keon is playing real, consistent minutes, without the fear of being pulled over a mistake. It's not all cliche Gentlemen. These are major style of play/schematic changes. Therefore it IS SUSTAINABLE!

Keegan Murray, Devin Carter, 1st round pick for Zack Lavine

Why get rid of Carter if uncertain of foxs future ?
@RS-tf6uv18 күн бұрын
@HustleHusky we are not in a rebuilding phase. Foxy is in his prime, DeRozan is a little past, and sabonas is in his prime. Carter could take a step back like Murray has and Lavine is coming into form right now

@RS-tf6uv so Keegan and Devin’s contracts add up to roughly 13.5mil and Lavine’s is 43mil so where would the remaining 29.5mil come from? You also need to account for the 5mil increase over the remaining two years of Lavine’s contract. So you would nuke the bench unless you want to include Demar and Lyles. The thing with Lavine has always been the contract amount.
@iCHiGOUZUMAK118 күн бұрын
@RS-tf6uv just looked at the contracts again and you have to offload Fox I think and Monk or Keon would run point
