This made my day... Doug did a FANTASTIC job giving so much background on the history and hidden details of these sets... I grew up on TNG not TOS but this tour makes me appreciate TOS so much more...

A man who loves the sets as much as the fans. What a great talk revealing the soul of brilliant design.

You don't understand. Drexler IS a fan. He was one of the original, first generation fans who watched and loved TOS on NBC. He even participated in the various Save Star Trek campaigns. Watching the show is what inspired him to enter the field. He's not just somebody who did the job for the money.

If you have never been to see this it is a must see! I was also lucky enough to see the tour led by Denise & Michael Okuda and Doug Drexler. AMAZING!

It was a great walkthrough, seeing Doug and you two. Did your perspective of the tos Enterprise become more real from this? I think mine would. I am going to try and make it down next year to see this set. Going to have my better half take pics galore. From what I could hear it sounded like it might be operating like the ship.

Hearing the bridge SFX, effing amazing. I am sure the original cast and crew that can look down, are doing exactly that. Waiting for people to leave so they can go explore.

I just discovered the existence of this place earlier today, can't believe I never heard of it before! This is a childhood dream come true and it's only a 4.5 hour drive from my home. I will be there to see it very soon!

I'm confused... Is this the set from Star Trek Continues or Star Trek New Voyages? Anyone know?
@tjrenegade98075 жыл бұрын
These were formally the New Voyages sets, now open to the public as the fully licensed Star Trek Original Series Set Tour. These sets are far more accurate than the continues sets which are not open to the public nor are they licensed by CBS. Check the website for special events.
