This is 1 of the few poker channels I think is worth it. The guy has a good attitude, relax voice and good explanations.

"Baby, we made it?" Haha, pure gold. But, on the realistic side, I don't think these guys would be comfortable playing this game without each having at least 4M, right?! Even 50 BI seems like a worryingly short amount, given the variance of HU (you can't just pedal the nuts like in FR...). So, they had both already made it, anyway! :)

Insanely fun video, thanks mma and loved the high stakes course took me from breaking even at 100nl to winning 4bb/100 at 400

@@davideyaliscool u should consider this also i think game may be softer on bros however u pay insane amount of rake relatively. So ur winrate a lot bigger than 4bb/100 actually

Doug was talking on his channel about his hand with Denoking and he said that he could only have AA in that spot where pot is 1000bbs.

Why such a huge difference in ratings in the last hand? What Phua did wrong there that he only got 8 after a hesitation, esp. that his min raise OTF was called cool and very advanced? :)
@Skankhunt420.2 жыл бұрын
6:54 why should he add more because it's deeper? If you 3 bet slighty more often they have to either call or 4 bet more often but you're gonna be in position either way. Also Linus Love 3 bets on the smaller side when deep stacked so something doesn't make sense
@markmadden4143 жыл бұрын
The last hand I'm pretty sure Doug said he got slow rolled uber hard. Like he jammed and guy tanked so he focussed on other tables came back and wondered where his stack went lol
@glennhagstedt10 ай бұрын
I was just about to comment this, this is true, Doug claimed Malacia tanked for almost a full minute before calling and Doug basically had booked the win because there was no way he would tank with any full house.

What was the max buyin in these games? That QJ2 board 4 of the 6 players were 400bbs deep with Trueteller being the shortstack with 150bbs.

Should Doug be betting the flop on the all club board most of the time? I figure that flop would hit Isildur's range more often, no? I suppose Doug will bet with TT JJ QQ AA KK with a club most of the time, but what about with no club? Also betting?

Open raising to 3x is good when you're 300bb deep in position. General rule of thumb: when in position you wanna bloat the pot as much as possible.

hard to analyze or criticize sizings pre when the hands are about 7 years old. the game itself did change since then and also we dont know really much about the dynamic between viktor and doug.

Not sure if it was the case vs Doug, but for a time Isildur would only play if both players agreed to 3x pre

@@LukePettit ya its possible, its like potlimit holdem pre. on pokerstars big game they played it. but never heard of it online hu

does an ante actually change anything hu like mma implied? obviously 6max you want to widen your ranges because there's more dead money to fight over but hu when the first person folds the hand is over

Who do you think will win the heads up grudge match between Daniel Negreanu and Doug Polk? Leave us a comment!
@mrgainz72523 жыл бұрын
Going to be a close one but Polk will pull ahead at some point as it's his speciality, Daniel soaks information like a sponge though so he can definitely win especially if his all in improves as he's running under by 200k I think.
