Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.” John 10:27-28 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” Hebrews 13:15-16 “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.” There’s no greater sacrifice than sacrificing of self.

Umm I'm still a learner Christian who left the Church behind ( don't need to say why ) But I felt guilty for leaving for over two years so now Jesus has led me back to him But not to the Church ( my fault ) please say a prayer for me that I get over my pride I learn more with Doug cuz I can hear his sermon's back to back...thank you Pastor Doug for your sermon's.😊

God des not test someone to see what that person will do, because God already knows. But the person being tested does not know what they will do. This happened to me. I learned what I would do. It was eye opening to me. I prayed for forgiveness. I was foregiven, and I constantly thank God for His blessings. God already knows what people will do, but we dont. God bless all.

My husband and I need prayers !😮we have both were doing so well . Now we're are so desperate for God to save us from alcohol 😢it hurts to get off. We are both sick and want to repent 😢❤but it hurts to stop and it's gone on and on😢God still loves us doesn't he😢?we married 23 yrs. 😢 should we split up.?😢😢

Hello Bella. I’m praying for you and your husband. I understand it’s a difficult thing and yes it is painful! May I suggest that you go to a treatment center, both of you so you can receive help detoxing. Once you take a step forward in quitting, God will meet you and help you through. I promise he will, he has done it for me. I have struggled with addiction and my experience is that God doesn’t always just take away your desire to drink one day. Oftentimes he requires us to take a step forward like going to treatment and I can promise you he will assist you in getting sober. It may not be easy but you both are worth it. God is worth it. You can do it!
