It seems convenient that she’s keeping the large black shopping bag out view from the camera. Is it because she doesn’t want people to see how much and of what she’s throwing away. I 1000% support meeting children where they’re at with food issues. I myself have a son with AFRID and food is constant state of stress so agree that there may be 3 foods on particular child may eat so you stock up on those items no matter the sugar content. My concern is that it seems to Go far beyond that. Why so much sugar?? For instance the most recent snack board had candy corn, muffins, several other items. How about candy not being on the snack board each day? I’m not opposed to my children having a piece of candy here or there but it is not a daily option and/or choice. Same for soda. I just worry that with the amount of sugar being put in their diets they may struggle with making good and healthy food choices when they’re no longer at home.
@alexandria29252 жыл бұрын
I get your concern about the sugar but we have to admit that we don’t see everything behind the scenes and she also adds healthy choices to her menu. And to me, the snack boards are a good size for the amount of people living in the house and the friends that come over in the afternoon, which means that each person probably doesn’t consume that much of what is on the snack board. I remember when I was little and I went to daycare. There were only about 14-16 kids and they used to prepare snack boards of a similar size and trust me each kid didn’t get to pig out because there wasn’t enough for that. I do think sugar can be dangerous but we shouldn’t judge her for how she’s feeding her kids, it’s honestly not our place.And the positive thing is that they are very active. The only thing that you said that I don’t agree with at all is the part about the shopping bag. I wouldn’t show a large black shopping bag in the shot if I were her either lol 😂 I mean most people probably wouldn’t show their garbage on camera.

I thought the same Christina about the black bin liner it looks like out of date stuff being thrown out. Not trying to be mean or else but I really enjoyed watching your grocery hauls but with this one I just realized that you buy a lot and still have to throw up food because it is expired or whatever. Beside of buying too much food every week, just skip a week or two.. It is your life and your business but I think you should think about it. Lots of family would’ve kill to get the food you waste. Not because you are famous or have money to spend give you the right to do whatever you want with the food. I mean, I don’t think you are a bad person, maybe you just don’t have the values in the right place that’s all. I also realized with your dinner/lunch/breakfast video that their breakfast plate are quite empty. Like you put only 2-3 piece of fruits per plate, with the food you buy everyday you shouldn’t be worried to miss products or else. And it is proved that an healthy and good breakfast is enough for the day, the kids will probably not snack as much as they do. It will be better for their health later, because I notice that most of your kids are « bigger » and I am not judging it! I am just wondering if you think about it sometime.

You want a easy breakfast idea for your platoon. Breakfast tacos. Scramble eggs, ground sausage, and diced potatoes aka hasbrowns (frozen is totally OK) and top with grated cheese and stuff everything in flour tortillas and roll like a burrito. I know some people who will brown the sausage and cook the Scramble eggs in the same skillet or you can leave out the sausage and just make eggs and hasbrowm breakfast tacos. It's easy. Well for you it would be easy being you already do some cooking in the morning time. Just make sure you warm up the tortillas before putting the eggs and stuff in the tortillas or its really hard to roll them up and staying rolled up by the time the kids eat. I notice that you guys have a theme night every week and a taco night ( Damnit I just got hungry for tacos now) but I have some good Mexican recipes and I also know how to make Cajun food. Gumbo and I would say a crawlfish boil but I doubt you can find crawlfish up in NY, I never could when I lived in Upstate NY. If you are ever interested in some new recipes that are simple..Fajitas is my best specialty and I make good Gumbo which is as easy as soup to make. Easy way to heat the tortillas for you guys either can be on a skillet or put in the microwave with damp paper towels wrapped around the tortillas. I still think you guys are a ecological disaster though lol

She stated in a video that she does give back to her community but she doesn’t talk about it and quite frankly I wouldn’t either. Some people talk about their charity work because they want attention. I prefer to keep stuff like that to myself. If you give back with genuine intentions no one needs to know. Idk the intentions behind your comment but I’m not going to assume you had bad intentions, you were probably just curious. But I think the way you phrased the question was a little off putting. It’s almost like you assumed she didn’t give back to help other families out. And yes i think it’s important for people to know other families struggles but I don’t think she should be shamed for being able to provide for her children and get them extra stuff they would enjoy. I think a lot of people don’t realize that yes it looks like a lot of food and snacks but there are 16 people living in that house and they have friends that come over.
