Fill the sink with hot, soapy water. Put silverware and cups in and wash the. Next, plates and small bowls. Then pots, pans and large bowls. My parents taught me that

No ma’am… I would not do this. Each child needs their own basket so the laundry stays separate and organized. Each basket would get washed separately so they can then fold and put away their own laundry.

That might work doing laundry at home but they go to the laundromat. That would just make things a million times more difficult.

@Anon-0202 have you ever used one of those big machines? It can fit a lot of laundry. If they split all the kids clothes up, that would require them using like 10-11 machines or more. Plus more machines equals more money and not as many people will be able to do laundry there

That pile of laundry is absolutely ridiculous. 1-Get the septic field fixed and get a couple of washers and dryers and assign the kids a day they do their laundry or 2-Keep the kid's laundry in a basket and wash/dry one load for each of them and then put back and have them fold their own. or 3-Get a laundry service. They can afford any of the above!!

The dishwashing is what gets me… Washing your dishes with a rag you used to clean the dirty counters with, then letting water run on top of the dish you are washing does not help at all, you are washing all of the soap away and just using a dirty rag to wash dishes. That rag is laced with bacteria from your dirty counters that you didn’t even use a cleaner on… so you just spread all of the bacteria around🤮 Please do better for the health and safety of those children!

If these kids can play games all day they can figure out how to hang a shirt and pants. It’s probly frustrating for the kids to be scrounging around for somthing to wear in that massive pile everyday.

Your day in the life’s are really just breakfast, your snack boards and nothing else. Laundry once a month. I have way more dishes per day for two people when cooking a home-cooked meal once a night than you do in a week. I wash laundry every day for two people almost (bedding, socks, underwear, then regular items). You never show cleaning floors, vacuuming, wiping off the rest of the house. Shaking rugs, windexing windows.. cleaning the oven from “cooking so much”. Mopping floors. Cleaning the pool. Cleaning the car. Cleaning your fridges/freezers out. Dusting. Deep cleaning appliances … I do these things WEEKLY and I live alone with a boyfriend that comes over 4x a week.

Biggest economical laundry tip I’ve ever tried was how to easily get out grass stains from my kids’ jeans. All you need to do is lay the garments of the ground or hang on a clothesline and let the morning dew take the stains away. My son-in-law didn’t believe it till my daughter tried it on the boys’ jeans and it worked. He was also a doubting Thomas when we told him that the flowers growing on the decorative wagon wheels along their walkway were called four o’clocks because they close their petals at four o’clock and reopen the next day. Proved right again when he saw it for himself.

Why not make laundry just a little bit easier with each kid having their own laundry basket with their names on it and decorated if they want to just like their lockers so at least the loads are already divided

You are so amazing. I could never do what you manage. I get tuckered out, and it's only me and my cat. And I thought my work was never-ending. You never cease to amaze me. I made soup, showered, took pills, and had a visit with my mom, and you're still folding laundry.

James needed a new backpack? Surely not. They have each gotten 2 or 3 backpacks in the last 6 months. My kids have to use their backpacks for YEARS. If it needs repaired then I pull out some mending materials and get to work! That's also why I invest in higher quality stuff for my family. Less waste.

I think, no I would definitely have each child with its own laundry basket. It would save so much time. Also the children need to put their clothes the right side out. That would save you so much time. They must have so many clothes.

Have you considered getting some of those collapsible laundry baskets? So when you sort and fold, each kid can have their own? I remember once when you had done the sort and folding the kids messed a ton up and you had to redo it!

I think with that much laundry I would give everyone there own basket and wash each load separate that way you don't have to separate all of those clothes, you have a lot of patience to do that weekly WOW

I don't know what's happening this is a tragic way to wash up . If you fill one sink with hot water and a table spoon of soap it'll washing all of this in one go . Much more hygienic and waste less soap n water. I'm horrified you use to clean homes buy a hard sponge 🧽 try scrub daddy amazing !!!! A cloth will not clean fully n clean you sink properly OMG

Just a suggestion....how about you do all of the younger kids laundry and set a day for you&all the bigger kids to go wash. Have them wash, dry and fold their own laundry. They are definitely at an age where they should be responsible for a few things...help lighten your load as well giving them a life skill.

I'd get 14 baskets sort everyone's into the basket. Everyone fold and put away their own. Exception of harlee but I'd still get her to help me. Life skills

Seems like laundry would be so much more organized if each child had their own laundry hamper and take all the hampers and then put them back in the hamper assigned to the child. Would save you hours

Why don’t you get each of the kids name on the laundry baskets and have them put all their dirty clothes and take it to the laundry and get washed and dryer then you just fold and wash what is in each basket and also have one for all the linen and towels etc they did that to us we were only six kids but when we didn’t pick our clothes to get washed that was our fault boy did we learn fast
