If I remember correctly when Dougie was like 13 he lost his pops and then couple years after that back in 2018 he lost his close friend when he was mad young called Vlana and then years later him & Flock an B-Love practically on the top of their game along w/ D-Thang & Sha EK they get signed an then Kay Flock ends up killing Wasca in Harlem an gets locked up for that then Flock ends up catching a RICO w/ Sticky, Zay & some other DOA/3rd Side members so he loses his right hand mans to the Feds and then his other best friend Duwop ends up getting killed by some Patria over some personal shit in Belmont back in 2022.....all this to say everything just got to him and he couldn't handle all the trauma he's been through an lost himself completely. Wasted Talent but hopefully this stint he's about to do in Prison will make him stronger hopefully he gets closer to God and starts to realise that its not how you start its how you finish!

I see what you saying about his vocals, but I'm almost positive it's not the engineer's mix causing his vocals to sound like that, it's his pronunciation. If you really listen, the mix is good, the vocals are sitting right where they should and cutting through perfectly, it's when he is trying to squeeze certain syllable's out while using that flow on that beat.
