Thank you so much for the beautiful ballads! Just had my 68th birthday, and feeling a bit more like a hermit too -

Dougie MacLean, now there's a name I haven't heard in over forty years. Wally Whyton invited me to guest on his BFBS "Folk Review" show in 1983, and one of the songs by someone not me was by Dougie MacLean. I THINK it sounded great, but the studio only had two seat of earphones, and I was the odd man out. Colin Irwin got the other set. My Dutch-American group, the Holland-America Line, was featured on the show that time. It's good to see that some of us are still alive and kicking. Cheers to the man I heard but never met, Dougie MacLean!

We missed this little concert, on Saturday, so here we are on a Sunday. (Monroe, Michigan)
