Ah memories,we were there in March 2019,shocked at what a mess it was from Broadway to Summerhill Road,thanks to Covid our next return was June 2022,after this video was shot,even more shocked to see it now was a building site all the way to the Sea Terminal,horrendous,happily on our visit last week calm has returned to Douglas Promenade,nice job!

We’ve had 2 years of this to put up with. When you have to find and dig up rotten services along the whole prom it was always going to take ages! Dig up junctions, dig out and replace pipes make good and fill junctions. All new drainage, gas, water, and sewage over a 3 mile run. Yet folk were moaning from day 1! It will look good when finished we hope!

Just as well the TT and MGP didn't go ahead! What a bloody chaotic mess! Hardly recognised it.

What a mess the prom is still in. Must be absolute mayhem trying to drive up and down at the minute.
