Very true and in some cases video documentation is the only thing we have left. Fortunately tourism has created a way through which people like Mohamed can continue with these traditions.

@@noseunderthetent Yeah, I think there is a need for societies and civil organisations to be created with the sole purpose of documenting the whole making processes as well as the sociology around these crafts. I think it could be a way to avoid the extinction of them and set ground for the evolution in the making process, commerce and promotion of these tokens of heritage. At the end these things are the ones that define the cultural identity of a demography such as this. In my country this is happening and it's kind of heartbreaking to see that almost nothing is being done, not to preserve them nor to promote the evolution of those arts and techniques. There is lots of possibilities but entrepreneurship is needed as well as government support, not an easy task.
