When Grier said "i guess we have to invest in the o-line" I screamed and threw my phone. I am so done with that clown....oh NOW you want to do that? Not before the season, not 2 or 3 years ago? Not 6 years ago? NOT WHEN TANNEHILL WAS GETTING LIT UP ALL THOSE YEARS BACK? how come we havent had a consistently good offensive line since the early and i mean EARLY 2000's? I need the dolphins brass to answer that for me.

until they actually address the offensive line. nothing will change and no quarterback changes will change that without better line play. I said this after the draft and was proven right as we have the 2 worst guards as our starters and they can't block. yes I'm worried about the offensive line more than Grier because the games are won and lost in the trenches. we can't concert on 3rd and 1 ,(or 2) because our line is so ineffective

yup. And it's not just about protecting Tua. it about getting push to get the run game going too. We are crap between the tackles. The only time we run well is if we can set the edge. So defenses do not respect the run and make the offense 1 dimensional.

Fast forward 40 years and my belief is that the Dolphins are cursed. There is just something wrong with this franchise. It doesn't matter who owns the team, who the GM or coach is or the players that make up the team, they will underperform no matter what. Dan Marino would have won super bowls if he hadn't been drafted by the Miami Dolphins. Doug, I don't know how you do this all year long. I hope you are getting paid....

The difference with Philbin was his best year was 8 wins. So giving him an extra year was stupid, because he had proven nothing. So giving him one more year makes sense

speaking on tua being on the field and the dolphins winning. I went and looked at it tua's career record is 40-24 and the dolphins are 46-37 since tua joined the team so since he has been with the dolphins he has been masking the problems of the team as the record indicates. Not saying that tua is the answer because i believe limiting your offense to not being able to make a second play with an athletic qb is not a winning formula unless you have the perfect roster around the qb, but my point is that the dolphins constant short comings are constantly hid by tua being on the field and being a winning qb.

However, addressing the OL and increasing the accountability of the players for their actiions and transgressions is also much needed. That last part is going to be hard for Mcdaniel. Perhaps they need to bring in a strong asst. head coach who will be that feared drill sargeant who who rip off your head and shit down your neck if you screw up. Of course he would have to be formally given carte blanche by Mcdaniel to take that role so the players dont come crying to him for salvation.

I say we keep Tua for as long as he is alive . At least for the next 70 years! He is the God of Quarterbacks! I love never making the playoffs. The season is too long as it is.

tua 2.0 seconds in pocket on average hurts 2.7 seconds - playoffs darnold 2.6 - best season of his career - playoffs Lamar jackson 2.6 - playoffs bo nix - 2.5 playoffs Herbert - 2.5 playoffs Stroud - 2.5 playoffs stafford 2.5 playoffs allen - 2.5 playoffs wilson 2.5 playoffs love 2.5 playoffs goff and mahomes made it with .3 seconds more but with exceptional teams teams that didnt make it with 2.5 seconds in pocket are kyler murray, geno smith, caleb williams, The only exception is mayfield who made it with 2.2 seconds in pocket, nearly everyone else had at least half a second longer, or had a superteam. TUA NEEDS SOME PROTECTIOn

Bro. Whats your point in this video? Your narrative is that they shoukd have corrected this earlier so they can no longer correct those mistakes? I swear that nfl streamers like you prefer the nihilism of engagement over pursuing the truth.

at this point does anyone believe anything that Grier says? as for the way he came across in the presser? he was taking the piss out of the fans. the smirk on his face should be enough to have fans walk away until Ross fires him. he's a failed scout.

You have a backup QB in a must win game against the jets... You pitch the ball backwards all game and lose yardage and now the backup QB has to makeup yardage...He thinks he should still call plays....WOW!!!!

Definitely need defensive backs and safeties. Jevon Holland is decent but i don't see where he has much of an impact every game. We need corners that can cover and Ramsey is slipping as he is aging. Definitely need to fix the offensive line.

Anyone who cries about Tua's injuries are either riding the short bus or lying. Anyone in Miami's Front Office or McDaniel crying about it, deserve to be forced to dance in the middle of I-95. Tua's injuries are because the organization has utterly failed him, end of discussion.

So Tua’s injury history that he came into the league with are a result of the organization failing him? Tua wasn’t healthy a single season in college either.

@ Just say you were in diapers when Tua was at Alabama and never did any research. The only injuries that were freak accidents put on him, were literal nothingburgers, with the one exception. Like a high ankle sprain and hitting a finger on a helmet in practice. Things that've never bothered him since. The others were his linemen literally stepping on him in a game. No sane person cares about that. You're a mindless child, get off your phone and go find your daddy so he can beat some sense into you.

@@TheRedsox040711 concussions, hip, both ankles His recently hurt his hip was on a routine tackle and hit. His multiple concussions: A push by a defender, he stumbled back and lost balance and fell backwards A sack because he held onto the ball too long and got flung because he is little and weak Shoe string tackle from behind because he is slow and unaware Running head first into a 180 lb DB

Grier's problem in a nutshell is when he was persuaded by Wes Welker to take Easy E in the 4th round instead of taking Zach Tom. Overvaluing the WR position at the expense of the OL is a philosophical and strategic failure. Grier needs to pay the price for this. Fire him.

Lamar was considered injury prone too. Then they upgraded their offensive line and got King Henry. Has Lamar been hurt since? No. The solution is so simple and so obvious even Grier might be able to figure it out. Some of us have been talking about the line since they blew the team up in 2019.

The Dolphins Front Office think we really dumb? How you frustrated or annoyed with a QB that you drafted BROKEN. Its like going to a garage sell and buying something thats broken and get mad that it broke on you 2 days later… the front office needs to start shopping at Publix and stop going to Dollar General and Dollar Tree

It's 🐂💩 Chris "always giving us Grief" Grier using Tua as scapegoat for year....bottomline this is the team he's help put together for almost 2 decades. He's been apart of this organization for about 18 years freaking years with nothing to show for it. Grief's M.O. is to take chances on injury prone guys...as a scout Grier should know what type of guy Tua is...injury prone, talented, leave it all on the field type of guy that has not even been given an average oline. Grier constantly scoffed everyone who said we need a better oline. SMH, no accountability. I can't wait for the glory days to come this has been brutal to watch

Tua takes unnecessary risks because he is either running for his life or trying to beat the clock because of late playcalls. QB get injured, and they blame Tuas' injury for exposing Giers' lack of foresight. Give me a break. The person to blame is the man in the mirror Grier.
