I love Weave. But how are Vikings, Chiefs and Eagles, even Broncos and Packers, all of the top defenses, keeping their coordinators but Dolphins losing theirs. Doesn’t make sense and it’s frustrating. Again I wish the very best for Weave but this team has had a new OC, DC or head coach each of the last 6 seasons. One of the bigger reasons they are stuck in the mud.

I heard that Weaver was the 5th option. I hope so. It will be nice for him to take over for McDaniel once he is fired. I totally agree with you about Bevell, Doug.

Good for Weaver. Anyone who is talented and with a good work ethic must be more frustrated with the Dolphins than us fans are. If Weaver, or anyone else, can find success and advancement elsewhere, they should go for it. Miami is a flawed franchise under Ross, and people shouldn't plan to stay with the Dolphins long term.

So if they both leave then thats great news because the percentage of grier and Mcdaniels getting fired is higher then ever ! Why were you shocked Flo wasn't hired? He is like Buddy Ryan back in the day, great coordinator but no one can stand him so he can't hire a staff because no one wants to work with him. I am sure he interviews just this side of Bieniemy, has on field results but comes across poorly in the interviews.

If Bevell leaves, maybe Slowik to replace him. If Weaver leaves, I wouldn't be shocked if they bring in a DC with HC experience in case they need an interim coach. That being said, I can see a scenario where The Phins have another bad season and Grier and/or McDaniel convince Mr Ross that the down year is due to coaching turnover and they get another season.

I just want to know if all of these people who do nothing but complain about Mike McDaniels play calling, instead of complaining about the actual problem with the plays that they are complaining about, the individual player execution, have spent these playoff games complaining about all of these quick screens, and designed check down passes to running backs, by teams like the Bills & Chiefs. Because it’s the same plays Miami has been running. Their players just execute better, and give better effort.

Rusty Miller is one of the few Dolphins fans that gets it. All this assistant coach stuff is just verbal masturbation because Ross, Grier and McDaniel are still here. And as for their glorious defense this past season… it only showed up against bad teams and sometimes not even then. Aaron Rodgers had his 2 best games of the season against guess who….that’s right the Dolphins. Now homers I understand that we one won of those games but my point is if Weaver were all that, we would’ve won both and we would’ve won one or two of the games Tua missed. I’m thinking Titans ( they only won 3 or 4 games and one was against us LOL)It’s called stepping up. Maybe you’ve heard of it.

@ it was for the people in comments. Folks Always bringing up old coaches & players. They got fired for a reason. We were calling for Flo Head 3 yrs ago. If TUA was the Problem With Flo. How did a new coach all of a sudden elevate us to B2B Playoff appearances. We lose because we can’t stay healthy. All that other stuff fans complain about is Just excuses. Stay healthy like the 2 SB Current SB teams & we a be in Same Position One Day. We have the talent. We don’t have the luck of staying healthy

We sign and draft far too many players with injury histories and give them contracts that ignore that risk. For every unlucky Jaelan Phillips we have a Tua, a Chubb, and an Armstead. Its unsustainable. Then on top of that the management believes they can get by with a makeshift bargain basement OL, with not enough starters OR depth. For years. One thing we haven't been, is unlucky.

@ Week 18 2023 we played Bills for division title. We were in full control of that game. We punt the ball off to them & one of our special teamers tears his ACL while trying to make tackle. goes to ground and Bills return it for a tying TD. We lost that game and division. Does that sound Unlucky or Did we draft another injury prone player?
