Shadows of Brimstone - Supplementing City of the Ancients and Swamps of Death Core Sets

First merge the coresets into 1 huge game, then get as many if not all supplement card decks and mix them into all decks! Thats what i did and yes costly but wow the game never gets the same and News stuff in every playthrough! This game is just totally awesome! Doorways Into Darkness and the Deluxe Depth Track both add some cards and some bling to the game. These add to either (or both core boxes). I also recommend the Plastic Corpse Piles set from the Frog's site. These are much better than the cardboard tokens from the Swamps of Death box. The same is true for the Custodians of Targa with Targa Pylons. The actual pylon minis are much better than the tokens provided in the City of the Ancients box. Plus you get a new enemy. Allies of the Old West also expand the game by bringing hirelings into the mix. This is especially helpful for smaller sized posses. Lastly, the Frontier Town expansion adds to the travel and town stay aspects of the game. This will apply to either/both core box. Included with the expansion, you get a new enemy, six more town locations, more travel hazards, more side bag tokens, new missions, Daily Events cards(there is a card supplement for even more of these too), etc. Lots of bang for the buck here.

I appreciate the ideas and your tips! I started picking up most of SOB last summer and have a lot of it... plan to paint and play over this fall and winter. I have no picked up the extra card packs but after seeing your vid I'll take a look at them and hopefully catch on a future sale. Cheers!

I'm really surprised that flying frog has never made a hero pack with like 5 heroes you could buy at once. Not meaning the alt packs but rather something like all the heroes made for Swamp's of Death or all the heroes they made for city of the Ancients.
