I love to see any videos of Doune Castle. I used to play around there as a child and have had many opportunities to roam through the halls and places now no longer accessible. My father also did as a lad, and likely his father too. I see someone else commented that music was repetitive, and I concur. Could I also suggest that you not move your camera around so much as the motion can be quite distracting. Also, when you show a sign please allow time for viewers to read all the words. Don't be afraid to stand back a ways and keep the camera stationary a while. Thanks for 'conquering' Alba.

True - and this music is used in lots of videos, so as soon as it starts I jig around on my chair & hum along - but it is repetitive, quite jolly but really becomes a big nuisance if the video is too long !

Yes, it's still standing. It's currently having some work done to it but is still open to the public.

Same here mate, was looking forward to seeing around the castle but the music was doing my head in after about 8 minutes.
