I have the feeling, that its time that a song like this has to win this contest. Not a song which we already know of it will have a very big chance to win (like russia their song). I think the netherlands deserve it so much as well. A message to all voters: please vote for this song! We need something different. Ever since I first heard this song, I fell in love with the song and Douwe Bob's voice, I wish songs like this would win Eurovision for once. After 2019's Eurovision, I listened to It again and felt the exact same as I did when I watched It live, Douwe Bob's music as a whole is just what I needed and I hope more people find interest in him and his music.

Hij heeft het fantastisch gedaan en kan trots zijn op zijn 11e plaats. Zijn performance was perfect en hij heeft aan heel Europa laten zien hoe professioneel en getalenteerd hij is. Ik gunde hem echter een veel hogere notering. Op basis van zijn optreden had hij minstens een top 5 verdient, maar zijn vroege startpositie heeft alle kans op een hoge notering doen verdwijnen. Douwe, ik ben trots op je. Je hebt het Songfestival niet gewonnen, maar je bent wel mijn persoonlijke winnaar. Bedankt!

Slow Down is doing very well in the Nordic previewshows. In Finland they ranked it 4th out of all the entries and in the first Icelandic previewshow they gave 35 out of 40 points, which means he got the most points yesterday and is their number 1 atm.
