not entirely true - there are a lot of artists who get to be themselves in their music because they write their own songs. She removed her old music catalogue from Spotify as I think she was embarrassed of the music others made for her in the past. Well done to her, but those who get to be themselves in their music are the songwriters. Maybe once she learns how to write a song independently, she can truly be herself instead of relying on other people to create an identity for her

I don't understand how she can be the new artist of the year if she is literally not new in the industry at all. She just rebranded and dyed her hair. She has released a full album previously and was apart of a singing group with her ex. They forced this idea of her being a new artist and deleted all of her videos from her channel but with a quick search you can find them. She's not new at all, she is just only getting recognized for her talent now.
