It's a cool perspective to show and take into account, too. I find it relatable and a learning lesson. Some people I looked up to didn't always make the best decisions, and kept repeating their mistakes even after suffering the same consequences. So when I found myself doing something similar or repeating it, I found I had the power to change and better myself from it. I'm literally so obsessed with this song because of it haha

Wait...the part where she goes “once upon a time, a girl tried harder....” and so on, in the movie she says “once upon a time she fought a dragon, once upon a time, the beast was me.” Why did they change it? I like the movie version better because it feels more fairytale like.

Jasey Rae They didn’t change it, this is the full version of the song so it’s extended. The part about the dragon comes at 2:04 instead of earlier in the song like it does in the film. Hope this helps.
