Was happy to see a brand like Dove entering the market. The sponsored video was unusual, but I'm so glad you separated that from this and delivered your honest opinion here regardless of the sponsorship. I love that I can rely on you to be upfront. Even in the worst case that you betray us, you absolutely wouldn't betray your own hair and I adore + respect that you didn't even touch the shampoo/conditioner with your hair lolol. Honestly Dove should try harder and make a properly CG friendly line, this current one is kinda misleading with the branding.

Yes i tried this line...the shampoo infact did not lather well unlike other sulphate free dove shampoos...it would not cleanse the scalp well but would leave my strands so stripped. By the second wash, my scalp would be clean but my hair would become super stripped. And even cause wet breakage due to that. BUT the rest of the range is a chef's kiss. So i would suggest to replace the shampoo with any other dove shampoo and it should be fine

Thank you for such in depth info, Michelle, but thanks specially for opting not to try out something for better hair health. It truly helps to abate the FOMO compulsions, when intelligent influencers lead with restraint. I would really like to know your thoughts about minimalist's malelic bond repair serum. It's got a lot of hype but the actual product reviews on nykaa for wavy/curly hair are mixed. My hair type is quite like yours, except it is very dry and frizzy and not coloured nor heat styled. So, i am not sure if the rebonding in this would work for people with untreated hair like mine. Thanks once again for all your good work and wish you happiness ❤️

Thank you so much. I appreciate your comment. I have bought minimalist's bond repair. Used it a couple of times as well. But doing a review of a bond repair in such a short time is not fair. I will give you my opinions but I need time to test out and judge the product. So I'd request your patience if you want a well informed honest review. Ideally i would need a few months atleast.

Hi! New CG girl here - I’ve used the shampoo conditioner and mask from their range. I personally felt it’s not too bad except for the fact that it made my hair too soft to the point that it my hair lost its curls (disappeared after 2nd day)

What clarifying shampoo do you recommend? Are there budget friendly options available in the Indian market? This dove range has silicones but no sulphate yes? So I'd have to prolly use a separate clarifying shampoo every other wash?
