Libra rising, hello again Paul and thank you for doing these reminders that help me stay on the path of the wise. I feel this energy big. 3 books show the process. The Hobbit, I first read it when I was 11 and it was in between fathers so I sort of adopted Gandalf as an inner archetype that turns out to have been my natural Hermit energy that appears in Myers Briggs as INFJ, Human Design as Hermit 6/2 Manifesting Generator, and having such a connection between Saturn and Uranus, the Dragon of the nodes, Sun Cazimi Mercury, Venus in Aquarius, Uranus and Pluto rising and we haven't even talked about BLM and the asteroids and Chiron. I just found a copy a few weeks ago in a free box and as it turns out Bilbo Baggins was the same age as me when he went on his first journey beyond the Misty Mountains and outsmarted Smaug to get there and back again. Then after getting my first practice pad after attending a drum workshop at Revival Drums in Portland Oregon I went looking for a copy of Stick Control, George Lawrence Stone, the basic Bible of all high level percussionists and kit drummers since 1935. The nearby bookstore open late enough to check did not have the book I was looking for, but I did locate a good affordable red cover gold text pocket sized copy of Liber Al Vel Legis. This is another book from my past as I lost all my Crowley books in 2008 with an apartment fire. Cracking it open this morning at early dark time coffee meditation it sparkled just like the first time I read it in 1996, but with less swoon from the ordeals of Pluto in Capricorn leading me to great inner discipline. Then at the local music store open in the late morning I did locate the drum rudiments book and now I do the thing of my new phase of life after Chiron return which for me happened right around the same time as my latest progressed new Moon, which renewed in my 6th house of Pisces whole sign. Pious, pied, feet: I got enough in the throne drum experience to know without a doubt it's my deepest passion of all musical instruments I would have taken up as a boy if my original house wasn't so tiny so I got into electric bass and went forward with that, lead vocals, guitar, hand percussion, flutes, didgeridoo, then 2018 my first kit. I often skip steps as just a year ago when I got my first snare drum with my own earned funds from stage hand work I did not get a practice pad or the esteemed Bible of drumming with the printed patterns that don't change, or get interrupted with ads, or require any computers to be on. Dove and Serpent, Liber Al is deep in my bones as I'm a sort of apostate priest of the EGC and rogue knight of the OTO. Without the Dove the Serpent stays trapped in the groin and thus the disconnect in the normals who only have the one or the other. With the motivation to hone my music skills in the woodshed with a click, two sticks, a Vic Firth practice pad and the printed notes of G.L. Stone's master guide, and the return of the divine inspiration of Thelema, plus the return of Tolkien stories which when I read them often it makes my own writing that much better are recent signs that the hell ordeals of the last 5 years most especially are in fact over and this is a well earned coasting period for woodshedding and getting some devotional energies back into my spiritual life, with a higher understanding of the things in chapter 3 that I could only gawk at in a bottom level literal way at first. Apply the destructive power of the Horus vibe to discipline your own thoughts, unite by thine art; this shatters the illusions of separation that hide the fact that Thelema and Agape are two words for the same thing. Agape is the Dove bringing the divine light to the crown, Thelema is the Serpent whose devotion connects to the crown from below and then watch out, Kung Fu is real when a human being is in 'coherence' as Heart Math phrases it.

I could certainly use a good year. This year has been rough. I've watched as my best friend slowly becomes more and more isolated to her relationship, cutting out everyone when she used to hold the line and insist that she get time with friends too. She won't listen to anyone trying to help or point things out. There was a truck wreck that should've killed me and I walked away with just scratches. Even the EMTs weren't sure how I didn't have at least a concussion from getting hit in the face with the side of a pickup truck. Then just after Halloween I had a stroke. I don't smoke, but I may have an odd blood condition. I'm fine with taking meds the rest of my life. Now if I could just finish my college finals, then I could really get rolling on my studio ghibli inspired animation! Paul, if you read this, I'd like to ask for prayers for my best friend. It's pretty clear to me that I'll be more than ok, but I worry so much for them.
