I used to work at McDonald's, l hurt the top of my foot today on a run, and l missed the school bus once as quite a young kid, being a core traumatic memory, as my parents had left for work already so I didn't know what to do. Lovely neighbours helped me. But, yes, so glad the wheel has finally turned, and I am no longer feeling 'stuck in the mud'- I had a manager who kept saying no to my progression, now I have a new supportive boss. Funny you stopped to say Virgo got lost. I use to get lost all the time. I have a short attention span to stay in one spot, so always wandering and taking my time to watch/look at things. My mother took us kids to Montreal /67 fair. Going back home to Toronto, waiting at the Montreal train station, I stopped away from mother and siblings, to look a store window full of dolls. When I turn, my group wasn't around. Long story, scared my mother to death and my borther found me listening to a jazz band on the top floor. LOL Always been a free spirit and still am. I bought myself some boots but returned them today. It was impulsive shopping. I didn't need them, really. I want to keep my cash right now. No treating myself for a couple of weeks.

At the 34:57 where you're talking about feeling good about what we've done. i wonder if some of that is learning to trust the "feeling good". I know that might sound dubious. but if you've gone through deep trauma and in some ways; you learn to be a little afraid of feeling good because in the past it was followed up with tragedy or hardship or something devastating.. undeserved punishment etc etc. and maybe realizing the lack of feeling good is really maybe a fear we have that we didn't realize was a fear. being afraid to feel happy or have whatever is making us happy be taken away.
