I lived in Dover from 59-64 & 71-80. Dad was at DAFB. Always felt like home until I went back 42 yrs later, naturally saw huge changes. Drove for Dover City Cab in late 70s, knew the town very very very well, still did when I went back in 2022. I knew the streets but alot different businesses 😮😅. I guess I'll always consider "old" Dover home❤.

I live in this area and you go though a few not so nice areas but you also pass a few very historic location, the 3 biggest being the Golden Fleece Tavern that was built around 1730 and played a big part in history as well as Christ Episcopal Church and the cemetery there has some very prominent people in history including Caesar Rodney. And the third is on the Green where the declaration of independence was read to the public for the very first time..
