this elevator is in a very bad area every time I go to my grandma's house in Silver Spring I always hear about a shooting at either Tenleytown AU Station or Georgia Ave Pentworth Stations, which both have Dover elevators

haha are you kidding? tenleytown is as safe as it gets in DC. PeTworth however, is pretty bad.
