Dheeraj ji, Your videos and information on Himalayas is amazing and very close to actual situation on the ground. I am a frequent traveller in Himalayas and did complete Leh circuit from Zozila- Leh- Pangong- Hanle- Umling la- Tso Moriri Manali in Sept’24. Few information for you : - Mage to Teo Moriri road is fine now. Last 20 kms is not Tarmac but paved and ready for Tarmac. Pangong - Rizwngla war memorial is dirt track and poorly marked so can become challanging for first time travellers. Pangong- Marsimikl la route was not open for public, vehicle with army connect/ prior approval were permitted beyond check point. Road was not too good but managable with 4x4. Drive too Rezangla pass was also not open for public, I could manage with my contacts. Umling la- Demchok was also not open for public. Off beat route suggested by you from Chushul- Mahe- Hanle and Hanle- Tso Moriri, I will explore next September. Thank you for your information and appreciate your willingness to help. Regards Neeraj Mathur

Hello Sir, Can you pls guide about the petrol pumps. As per another video of yours, last petrol pump will be in Diskit/Tangtse. Does that mean next petrol pump will be in Keylong and nothing else in-between the route of Nubra-Pangong-Hanle-TsoMoriri-Manali?
@discoverwithdheeraj4 ай бұрын
Now as of May 2024, you will find petrol pumps ar following places in Ladakh Leh, Karu near Leh, Diskit in Nubra , Tangtse near Pangong Lake, Nyoma near Hanle and Tso Moriri (Newly operational in 2024) Then if you exit on Manali Leh highway from Tso Moriri then next petrol pump will be Keylong. So if you are doing Ladakh circuits as above, you will need to manage about 290 km without petrol pump in case returning to Leh or Karu otherwise if you exit from Tso Moriri to Keylong/Manali then you need to manage about 420 km

If I do the Hanle to Tso Moriri route via Chumur with a stop at Chilling Lake, what time should I leave Hanle so as to reach Karzog before sunset? Are there any rest stops/ dhaba on the way or should we carry food/ water? Also, since I will be travelling by taxi, do taxis travel that route? Looking forward to your response.

Also, can I cover Nubra, Turtuk, Pangong, Hanle, and Tso Moriri if I have 5 days apart from the 2 days of acclimatization? I have moderate bike riding skills. Kindly share the mentioned route maps as you told us in this video. Regards
In Google Maps, if we search Pangong it shows somewhere middle in the range of Lake length. Should be just stop at spagmik to enjoy Pangong Lake?

Yes Lukung, Spangmik, Maan, Merak, are all the villages on the shores of Pangong Lake

Hi, I am Ajun, have seen a lot of your videos, it is really informative. Wanted few information and help from you - 1. Do you know anyone who has travelled to Ladakh with small breed dog? I am planning to travel with one, just wanted to know how was the experience and precautions to be taken. 2. Can you please connect me with female travellers, how did they manage lack of toilet facilities during travel.

Awaiting response.. Please don't keep it open, incase you don't have idea just confirm please..

Hey buddy.. well, first I am not sure about traveling to Ladakh specifically with small breed dog. All I can say traveling with pet is as the travel industry is booming in India including Leh Ladakh, more and more hotels are becoming pet-friendly and welcome pets. Hotels in Ladakh even provide food for pets. You can otherwise choose the carry your frozen food. As you will do to yourself, do keep your pets adequately hydrated. Do consult your veterinary doctor for any medicine for motion sickness or high altitude that he would like to prescribe. Finally, make sure you always carry your pet’s vaccination records with you on all your trips. For the second question, when traveling with females, make sure you are using bathrooms as and when you are leaving hotels, restaurants, monasteries, camp sites, make shift dhabhas, etc.. Only few places like Chumathang, Upshi, Nyoma in the remote routes have toilets but most of them are like dry pits with enclosures. So, always leverage the facilities whereever you get them while leaving source, reaching destination, and sightseeing places.
