Aren't padlocks usually on the exterior of the door? Did the protagonist lock himself in?

Not exactly when the main character gets out of bed and doesn't know where he is, but his only goal is to get out. Someone else probably boarded the doors. However, at the beginning, the veiled ghost could be the explanation for who could lock him in from the inside so that he could get out. :D

This game just proves how useless I would be in a situation like this. I would have left the first room, seen the bodies and immediately went back into the room to just wait for whatever horrible fate is coming to me. No way am I walking down dark hallways that are barely lit by red fluorescent lights.

Running in badly-lit hallways while a monster occasionally chases you. Zero story, zero context. At least the dev tried to spice things up with maps, buttons, and levers, but that was way too generic and barebones to differentiate it from countless other indie games.

Every texture in this game looks laminated: Laminated concrete, laminated wood, laminated metal, even the character's footsteps sound like his shoes are laminated. Too much lamination, I think I'm turning into laminate from watching.

Another game with mere chases and no story. Its amazing too how you're kidnapped and drugged.... and the kidnappers managed to leave the room, while padlocking you from the inside, lol. I suppose they have the same teleportation powers as those things in the sheets.

Commenting again for the interaction I think if you hadn't gone back to open the plank door and set the guy in the black sheet free you would have lost the game. I think you have to find both guys/things in sheets to win the game.

Or the ending would have been he gets killed instead of free, yes! The two sheet pedestrians did seem like guardians

Not really. I watched Insym played the game and he didn't release the black sheet guy. He still managed to escape but before he entered the door with the light, only white sheet guy stood there. No black sheet guy.

When you wake up in the game and see the syringes, it made me think you were at some genetic or bio weapon testing facility. That blast doors reinforced this for me(pun intended). Seems like things went horribly wrong, as they do. My theory is you were a test subject, as was the creature(s?) chasing you. I think this may have an alternate ending if you didn't release both of the sheet clad "guardians".

I think you're right. And the second sheet covered creature in the apparently useless room I don't think was a room there only for a scare, I think it's purpose was for the player to release the second sheet covered ghost/monster/creature there.

hmm, i think chris get the good ending for the game, cuz releasing the black-sheet statue is definitely optional, if u suppose he wouldn't return back to the first area and unlock the barricaded door of the black sheet statue, the monster would be able to get through as well and be released from that underground facility and start devouring everyone lol

A perfectly fine, basic game with no backstory whatsoever. Yeah, I _really_ like to be given some context for a game, even if it's minimal. Without that, I want a big red "f*ck no!" button that, when pushed, catapults my character out of whatever hell he/she is in and directly into a pastel anime world filled with butterflies and rainbow unicorns. How about it devs?! 😜

I am left with two big questions, that room in which we started was locked from the inside... If we were drugged and then put in there how did the person get out? If we locked ourselves in there before drugging ourselves and losing our memory, why would we subject ourselves to this?

Some very important information that sort of helps with the back story is that it is definitely a columbarium or (the other one where they store the bodies in a compact way, in cubbies). Maybe a preparatory facility for the dead who dappled in something they didn't understand.

I'm pretty sure i know which Devs made this Game.... There's a very similar game that came out before , in which you were stuck on a deep Bunker kinda Sewer System. In which you loose your Mind as far as you keep going thru with the Indie Horror Game ( I forgot what its called , But it shares a very similar Map Concept as this game including the Barbed Steel Doors across when you venture thru the Map ). That one was pretty Scary too , altho it was mostly similar with Tight Corridors , Eerie feeling as if someone is Watching you... Which is a type of Monster or Demon , much like to this Game ( That game however is far longer , i think 2 hours within fewer Chapters i remember ). 😅 It was either called something Below if i'm not mistaken , alot of Notes when you venture out.... And it was not like a Bunker , but an Underground Modern Mine Path that you keep taking has similar designs from this Game i'd say specialy with the Demon of this game as both had red eyes too.

I am so bad with maps in games. My brain doesn't grasp a few things like braiding hair for example I cant do it no matter how many times I tried. Same thing for complicated maps in games lol I have no idea why. Especially ones like in this one. I would have prob died 3 times before realizing.

SCP influenced. Pretty forgettable tbh. Two recommendations 1) IBLIS (Turkish horror game). PT style game. Excellent graphics, amazing sound, genuinely very scary.. 2) SWAN Chernobyl Unexplored. FP Game in unknown Ukrainian facility. Great atmosphere, great jump scares and freaky ‘enemies’. Very weird.

Without a story it still gave us some action and horror so I can say that the game works as it should be, but without your commentary Chris that would be a pretty bland experience.

The graphics look pretty good and it seems to be an interesting design but it feels unfinished because you literally can't click on any drawers or the pictures or examine any item. It makes the game feel lazy and unfinished, breaks the immersion. Not to mention that it makes the game so much easier because the only things you can click on are relevant items instead of having to search for the items like it should be.
