Hey Curtis, when doing Trivium rhythms are you dual tracking rhythm guitars or do you Quad track the rhythms? Great cover King 🤘 Nice to back home to Shogun!

For rhythm guitars just double track. One hard Left and one hard Right. In some cases I mess with the panning slightly. On a side note there’s those chugs you hear in the second verse which are just the Left guitar track edited to pan centre of the mix and EQed different for just those chugs to achieve a result similar to the original track

I leave the level of the drums and bass the same, I’ll lower the vocal track volume a smidge for the guitars to sit better to as it’s originally always the vocal track that is the most prominent track in the mix of a song, but not low enough that it doesn’t feel like an instrumental and still like the normal song. Removing the guitars may take some of the bass frequencies too so you’ll have to beef up your guitars low end to make up for some of the bass that gets removed. The bass track is still usable but because of how guitars and bass are mixed especially in metal the app is going to associate some of those lower frequencies with guitars.
