at christmas they had wrapping paper on it and the tape pulled the green paint offf so they repainted it red

I've gotten really fed up with the way CEC ignores the fans, so I went ahead and wrote this letter. Sure wish I could mail this--it'd take a whole lot of steps, wouldn't it? To the CEC corporate: This is from a longtime fan who is pissed at these terrible decisions you've made. Your current downfall is your own fault. You're the ones who redesigned Chuck E. into a f*cking CGI hipster. You're the ones who replaced the tokens and tickets with a hard-to-use swipe card. You're the ones who ditched the crawl tube areas. You're the ones hiring child-hating middle-aged assholes for managers. And while 2.0 isn't bad, I'd much rather have Phase 3 instead. Nobody even likes modernism anyway. And knock off the "four seasons of fun" thing. Those decorations suck ass. And also, stay away from the metaverse. We've had enough of NFTs. It's ironic that you're lamenting the fact that you've lost so much money over the years, when it's YOU who's been spending it on all these unnecessary remodels and currency changes. All the "fantastic reviews" that you've supposedly heard from guests about 2.0 are false. You're the ones making up these lies to try to get diehard fans, your main source of a cash flow, to come to your restaurant. You care nothing for the fans at all. You don't even care about "making magic" anymore. You only care about yourselves. Your trademarks shouldn't even belong to you at this point. You have no idea how devastated I was when you redesigned Chuck E. in 2012. I was just a kid then and I haven't recovered from that decision. If you'd just avoided everything I just listed, you'd be swimming in cash, but no. You tarnished an iconic brand and reduced it to a shell of its former self. Unless you switch your crooked BOD with people who are actually passionate about this brand, you're in for a doomed future. As an entrepreneurship student, I find it hard to believe you're actually trying to MAKE money the way things are going now. I wish there was a real time machine, so there'd be at least some way to salvage what has been lost. But you went ahead and ruined CEC for everyone. This is all your own fault. @@ucproductions5810 you gotta remember cec is a business and the “fans” aren’t the target age. cec is for 2-12 year olds and the bots don’t make the company any $. so why spend $ to repair them when they can just add the dance floors

​@@DaMeaun Because the dance floors are too expensive to install in the first place. If it were up to me the stage would be a dining area without any features except for character meet-and-greets. Kids today barely care about CEC nowadays anyway, and it's the die-hard fans are the ones who really care about what happens. There's no real "target age" because that would only set them back as a company. A business does better when they appeal to all ages. And keep in mind that I'm studying business in college right now, so I understand how CEC is supposed to operate.
