Do you guys think you could do a movie about the tank hunter class? I had an idea where the focus is that, on the outside, hidden by his mask, the tank hunter is a ruthless, cold, and calculated killer of machines, but underneath and inside, he's a slightly frightened, constantly on edge, young man who just happens to have sharp eyes and steady hands. He knows that if he's seen, or found, that the enemy could crush him in seconds, so that's why he fights like he does. With hands that move like clockwork, and aim that rings true even under pressure.

That's a amazing idea

Is their a they can use G98's? To make it more accurate? Like, no British soldiers running around with MP18.
@bren971227 жыл бұрын
RedBaron1916 X If you're using a custom server, make sure standard issue rifles is checked in the weapons selection. This enables some, but not every, nation to use their historically issued rifle for every class. This only really works for the French, British, Germans, and Americans. The Italians get the Russian 1895 because the Carcano isn't in the game (yet) and the Russians get the SMLE for some reason. The Ottomans get the G98, which isn't that bad but also not 100% correct.

It seems that these cinematics either make Germany look bad or make the allies look ruthless when WW1 warfare had respect. Men knew they were fighting people just like them. They didn’t execute one another.
@rataide997 жыл бұрын
Planet Venus "Repect" there is no such thing in a war where people are burning each other, chemical weapons being used, tanks amd machine guns that can kill hundreds of man in no time and most importantly the bombing of civilians. The word you are looking for might be " Humanity"
@Jacob-bi1oq7 жыл бұрын
Rui Ataide Men could hear each other from other sides of the trenches and they would have casual conversations if they knew their language. They respected each other, at least the front lines did. They knew the other side had families and that they were the same. They knew that they decided that they wanted to defend their country and stood up to the job. Soldiers then were not as ruthless against the enemy unless forced to by leaders. What you say is the definition of modern warfare.
@rataide997 жыл бұрын
Planet Venus You are right on that regard but the war and how it was fought was not honorable. For instance, dropping bombs from the skies on enemies that can't directly defend themselves its considered dishonarable for some but its the ways of all out war
@Jacob-bi1oq7 жыл бұрын
Rui Ataide, your right. Technology wasn’t great enough either to make anti-air on mass production. Now that I think about it, the more technologically advanced weapons get the more dishonorable the battle.

How did you pose the German soldiers to have their guns down? Normally, if you were to stand idle, you would have your gun up. As well as make the German soldier how got shot in the neck move around on the floor choking to death?

@ebenezeranton35687 жыл бұрын
you had some really good shots here, but everyone having a gasmask, the non standard issue guns, and deployed bayonets when they were not in combat kinda killed it a bit for me. if you were to fix those issues, this could be the best game-based "movie" ive seen in a while. (also, bipods AND a bayonet on a single gun is absurd and looks pretty dumb.)

GearFox Hey, thanks for the feedback, will keep this in mind for the next cinematic :) I'm aware machine guns where not used much in WW1, but I felt it made it more entertaining and varied to have a just a few.

It's a nice cinematic but tbh the German guard soldiers would've spotted the guy with the rifle or whatever and alerted more soldiers. The small dispatch of French troops would've most likely been all killed or captured
