Aye it's pretty good but very spendy. Couldn't walk to village this year outside of arena times either. There was a shuttle bus apparently but I couldn't be arsed soon as I heard that the doghouse was outside. Headliner game has been a constant since 13 I think and no one ever gets it all right. Maybe if we tried it sober 🤣 You watched Pt 2 yet? What about now?

Wasn't aware that happened. We're always on the understanding the music stops at 11pm (ish). It's only fair. We were singing till 3am on Sat night, I hope we didn't annoy anyone. Thanks for helping out though, really appreciate all the volunteers.

Hi, ta for watching. Yes the rule is a tent or an awning can go next to the campervan or caravan. In practice, if you can fit it in your pitch it's fine so you'll see all kinds of combos of tents, awnings and gazebos. I have seen security make people take things down though for taking the piss.

Hi , we went to download 2022 and it was sick. We want to go this year but were struggling with the campervan options and how to go about tickets ect. We saw last year's info on campervans and it said it was £455 , is that just for the pitch or do they provide you with a campervan for that price? The website is useless I can't get any information on there so would really appreciate if you could give me any info on how to go about it for 2023. Thanks a lot , love the video 🤘

Hiya, thanks for watching. First off, campervan tickets aren't on sale yet. Usually they've sold out by now! Early bird general sale ends on 6th Nov and I'm expecting campervan tickets to go on sale on 7th Nov. Don't hang around, they'll go like hot cakes. There's 3 types of campervan. RIP, only a few and sold out to toffs in no time. Don't even consider them. 2. Normal campervan. These were £145 last year and I expect a hike to close to £200 this year. You need one ticket for the pitch plus a 4 or 5 day camping ticket for each person who will be on that pitch. 3. Campervan plus or luxuray campervan or whatever they are calling it this week. These are a fenced off area in a different location. They have electric hook up and posh showers and toilet blocks. Posh as in a portacabin that the great unwashed can't use. These were about £455 last year and each person had to have the relevant period camping ticket too. Hope that explains it. good luck. I'm crapping myself in case I don't get one as I won't be going if I don't. They were £40 in 2010 and it never sold out!!

Loving the video, especially the Kiss patch! 🤣 quite new to Donnington and came by coach. How far was the village from the festival? I take it you walked it. Just wondering as the castle Inn looked lovely 👍

hi, thanks for checking out the vid. Yeah we walked it. It was 2km to the first pub. Probably did 5-6kms in the end so about 3.5miles. If we'd left earlier or didn't have to be back for the sparkle party we'd have got another couple of pubs in. There's definitely fewer than there used to be.
