Looks like Guest camping is the way to go. Accessability was rammed, tents all over the fire lanes, no tea/coffee and kept running out of drinking water, often no water in the showers. Great bands, great company and a great time, but by far the worst organised Download I have ever been to. Thanks for the video - much appreciated.

Totally feel you when you said you were exhausted. We worked 94K steps in 5 days. It was freaking ridiculous how far away the arena and villiage was from the camp sites.

i've just bought 2024 tickets and its my first bigger festival, and i'm absolutely terrified of my stuff being stolen. i know you stayed in guest camping for this one so it was definitely safer, but do you have any tips on how to prevent my stuff from being taken?

I hope you have the best time next year!! I would say that Download is one of the festivals that doesn’t really experience many thefts, I can’t speak for everyone but I always feel really safe at Download and the first year I ever went I was camping in quiet and felt like my stuff was all safe in there. The only thing I would recommend is just making sure you put things back inside your tent before you head off and keeping everything inside your back/suitcase so that it’s not spread all over the tent ☺️

OH also don’t take anything really valuable, there’s just no point risking it if you are worried. If I can live without a certain thing that’s valuable to me for the weekend then I’ll leave it safe at home ☺️
