why i can't add scale in print layout in qgis..does in survey of India shape file map we can't add scale?

It's asking to update profile but there is such a option Private sector and lots of position names but what should I do for this as I'm a student?

Hi Tania, I also can understand the problem. But unfortunately in Survey of India website, the options for student is not available.

Hi, I don't know the year. But these data are provided by Government of India. You can check it, for example in recent year any new district is formed and if it found in the shapefile. Then the data is recent.
