Thanks for the videos, very enjoyable. I have been on oral Rybelsus 7 mg since April 12 and have lost 47 pounds. Very little side effects…a1c going way down…61 year old Canadian guy here. Have fun on the cruise!!

Please!! Do more cruise/dining related videos. I took my first cruise in May and was ridiculous about food and cocktail indulgences. I began tirzepatide three weeks ago and have 40 pounds to lose. I have more cruises coming soon so I'd really enjoy more information on how to cruise but not be totally indulgent. I do not want to suspend the med while cruising. Any info in this regard would be very helpful. I'd love to see actual food choices you make and so on. Thanks! 🙂

As a hormone, you can cycle it. I use a compounded medication and since I dose it myself (not a preloaded pen) i split the dose and take 4 days apart. It just hits different. 😊 I love cruises. I always lose because i walk so much!!!!

Hi, dear Laraine and Christopher! Congrats, Christopher! I think I am the only person on earth who doesn't count ounces when I weigh. I don't even pay attention to it, so I always am "rounded." Laraine... you and I both in Minnie Mouse today. (I live in Mickey/Minnie clothes now... BECAUSE I FIT IN THEM! -sorry to scream, but it's exciting!) I've been on 15mg Mounjaro/tirzepatide since Nov. 13, 2023 and have had continual losses. GLP-1s are different than Pitocin. Pit (as it's called) acts on the uterus. Pit is raised very, very slowly because it's crucial to watch how the uterus, a muscle, reacts with the baby. Oftentimes, it gets too tight and squishes the babe, so the pit is lowered. If the baby is fine, they can up the pit every hour or so. If the uterus still needs more and they have met the legal (and ethical) threshhold of the dosage, it doesn't necessarily mean the uterus is "saturated" and quits responding. Sometimes the uterus quits in women not even _on_ Pitocin! Muscles sometimes just quit working. Just like some of us never need to go past 2.5 and others, like me, needs the 15 mg. for months on end. I've lost 85 lbs. since going on 15 mg. It's still exactly as effective as when I started and I am still going down, albeit slower. The closer we are to our goal weight, the slower things tend to go. I believe in you, Christopher! You are going to get there and in the exact amount of time it needs to happen... which we often have little control over (as you know). I just love your videos! You and your husband are a good pair! Right now I’m using a med spa but when I enter my 5mgs, I’m going to use Mochi since they’ve just reduced their price. Like you, I hate injecting myself but I’ll get over it. At the med spa, a nurse does it for me. I know this winter, it will be difficult to drive there sometimes.

Thanks Robert look at your info from your doctor/pharmacy units is a measure of the volume of liquid in the syringe and not the actual dosage for the medication -Tirzepatide/ZepBound for weightloss is in milligrams and is typically 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5 and 15 Each compounding pharmacy mixes it a little different so follow their instructions

Hello, My name is Tammy. I am on Zepbound 7.5 starting my 13 week on Tuesday. Weighted in at 209 today I am 188 so down 21 lbs😊 I was just wondering how long you can store the medication before it lose’s its potency? Oh, my cat needs all his teeth pulled. But a couple front teeth. They want between 3-4 grand 😬

That will vary depending on whether you use the branded pens or the compounded vials and whether they have been open or not Ask you pharmacy to make sure you get the right info

Hello again, So I use brand pens Zepbound they are refrigerated. I think I read somewhere that they’re good until the manufacturers date on the box. Also, this morning I forgot to take the cap off 🙄 trying to take cap off fast and still inject 🤣 I guess it will be okay to use another pen right away😕 Love watching you too. Always wanted to take a cruise. I’ll be 61 this year. Maybe I will get to after I retire. Enjoy!!!!😊

There should be a use by date on the box. Most are at least 6 months if refrigerated. I’ve seen several people forget to take the cap off. That stinks. Live and learn I guess ? ❤️
