❝ downsizing my bts collection… (╥_╥) ❞

never thought i would do this but yet here we are 🥲
still, i think this will help me in the long run with feeling less anxious and less stressed with my collection :)
REMINDER: it’s okay to drop a collection or to downsize a collection, you’re not less of a fan if you decide to do that because collecting should be fun and enjoyable and not stressful. you can still support your faves without having to collect them :)
i needed that reminder as well because i was in that mindset too where i thought i needed to collect a whole group or i needed to collect everything for a certain idol which is DEFINETELY NOT TRUE.
collect what you like and who you like where you don’t feel pressured 🥺💜

well on the plus side collecting 3 members is the next best thing after collecting ot7 when it comes to aesthetic purposes... I only collect sope and figuring out how to layout their pages can be hard bc it's only 2 members lol. I would pick up tae bc he's my 3rd bias but my wallet and stress levels say no!

You don't need reasons to collect or downsize your collection, as well you don't need to explain yourself if you decide to do it hun. It's yours, and your love for them, or how of a fan you are should NOT be measured on that. At the end of the day, you keep supporting and appreciated them. It's good to change that mentality ♥ collecting is fun and gets you to share with other fans as well, so keep enjoying it without pressure. Best luck for you! I hope your situation gets better!

I’m so sorry to hear you have some troubles and I hope this wasn’t too painful! Your description is completely right, collecting is no fun if you feel pressured about it and with the amount of pcs they release at the prices they are, I completely understand feeling overwhelmed or fed up with it. I hope you can still enjoy collecting in the future 💜

I guess that would make sense if you have many groups that you collect that it would be hard to continue collecting all BTS members. It can get really expensive to collect one group, much less 2 or more. So I get it. I hope you are in a better situation now. I viewed this post a year after you posted it. It can really hard to get BTS cards for a good price, especially the older cards. I hope you are happy with your collection overall.

Bts collecting is very expensive, I only have Jin and is already hard. Thank you for showing this process, I think it is an important part of collecting.

I downsized from trying to collect ot7 to just collecting 3 members earlier this year and it feels so much better. It's so much easier to manage and I'm able to collect other merch and dvds more easily

(not bts related) Same here i decided to downsized my twice photocard collection i collect ot9 their card is pretty cheap like $2 for normal album card (it depends on the member card because sometimes it's indemand) but when the tol era begins that slaps me that i should downsized my photocard collection and it really hurts for me sometimes i felt like i'm crying to let go all of them but i need to be practical since i really need to save up my money😞🤦 I almost complete their Pre Order Benefit Photocards it consists of 1-3 versions but i only collect 1 version now that i really like. Their pre order benefit photocards it almost 450+ Every korean comeback i usually do buy the whole set of their album but now i only buy 1 version. Ps. I only collect my ult bias now and i do joined card pooling so i don't need to buy my bias pc set....
