Huh, I've lived here most of my life, and I've never seen downtown des moines be as crowded as new york when walking the streets, i was born in 76' so this is a sight of downtown I've never seen, Thanks.

Crazy how Davenport and des Moines had such lively downtowns back in the day .

Davenport feels more preserved than Des Moines honestly

@@corntastrophy Yea Des Moines has tall and impressive looking buildings but Davenport has more charm.

@tonyagrestic Davenport hasn't really changed much since it was built. Des Moines has always been upgrading as the city grows and while it does keep it cosmopolitan, it feels more like an Urban city along the lines of Kansas City than a small town with big city amenities
