Oh this brings back wonderful memories! Had a beautiful Australian exchange student that absolutely loved this- She taught me so much & all candy was "lollies" to her- I found that out later when she asked me to get other candy besides on a stick🤭She taught me "meat pies were not chicken pot pies- tons of laughter & memories! Thank you for sharing! Children learn what they live is what I've always said- we were given jams & jellies & some were blessed with chocolate based spreads(vegimite) & honey-Everyone should be open to trying new flavors- it's fun!💙

The reactions of everyone eating vegemite was so worth the cost of postage. Terri actually made some vegemite and cheese scrolls that got served up at the friends place that we were at for thanksgiving, everyone tried some, but not like the plate was cleared off, which was great as I had plenty to snack on.

@@DownunderFarmandForge hahahahahaa I don't understand what the big deal is, Vegemite is amazing and a good Vegemite and cheese toasted sandwich is the BEST! I even do Vegemite on toast then mush avocado over it and sometimes even tomato on top of that 🤤 soooo good!

@@honey-bee-farmstead Americans tastes lends to sweet for breakfast type food, maple syrup on everything etc, heck there are some foods there that I can’t eat as just the sweetness make my teeth hurt. A savoury breakfast thing is right out there for them. Trust me have spent a lot of time thinking about the food differences, when you are planning to move there food is pretty important🤷‍♂️

@@honey-bee-farmstead my fiancé Terrie has put the Visa application in….long process, looking at about 2 years all going well and yes headed over to the land of plentiful water, being able to process on farm for chickens at least. Things are just better suited for the “homesteading” lifestyle that we are after, her coming here would mean dealing with the dry land agriculture and tighter restrictions on what you can sell to the public. PS really looking forward to watching that butcher room video of yours when I get a chance.
