Dowtown Los Angeles - North By Northwest (in 8K)

I've been fortunate to film all over the world. But home is home. It always challenges me to look at it under a new light, from new perspectives. This is one of my favorite relaxing long form aerial shots filmed in Los Angeles, California. The helicopter path is a heading of North via a diagonal Northwest direction, hence the title which also holds a few other meanings. We had a perfect line. Near zero wind. My pilot Kevin was focused, but about half way through the shot I think we both felt something good here as we enjoyed the blue hour bathing the city in cool hues while the remaining sun lingering in the sky kissed the buildings before nightfall.
Best watched full screen, in a dark room, in 8K (even if you're on a 4K screen). Volume up is a nice touch.

Oh my god. I am living in a poor country. When I'm looking at this, it just makes me feel so amazed and envy, looking down those people... USA people are wonderful, because you, guys, aren't lazy asses. Working hard and getting life like this one! Hope, that I will leave my country in the future to live like this. Again, it's wonderful and takes my breath! And thanks Phil Holland to showing me and others this beautiful video.

Thanks Alexander! This was the rare Dragon 8K VV sensor, but I use mainly Monstro 8K VV now. This is a variant on the ghost_phoenix IPP2 LUT in my philmColor kit.

Your stuff actually looks 8K when viewed in 8K on a Dell UP3218K. A lot of the stuff on other channels looks like upscaled 4K at best. The details in your videos are just sharper and more stable. The other channels with 8K offerings need to figure out what you're doing, Phil Holland, and do the same thing.
