More than where he stands amongst other artists I’m proud that he keeps on improving! He’s really sincere about singing and the music he releases. I hope he will continue to grow as a singer.

it just sounds so easy up there for him now, if he improved his lower range and continues improving his mix i can’t imagine the heights he’ll reach

I love Doyoung's low register on this vid sounds full for me (as compared to his old days which sounds light) and still have better understanding with dynamics.

That's really good. He's belting isn't as stuck as before, and I like the freedom on the upper area on the 4th octave. If he's consistent like that he'll be at mid AA (or could be actually). Unfortunately he still has to work on his low there pretty much airy even if the support is there. Yeah my bias (doyoung) topped my bias (taeil) lol

@MacmaxxVoczz I notice you tend to overrate Doyoung a lot 😅 from AA-P to High AA. Don't tell me you think he's above the likes of Hweseung, Seungkwan, 2 AM guys, Jaejoong, etc.

@MacmaxxVoczz fuller? No it's not. You can hear clearly that he tend to add air on his low wich is a bad choice i didn't even like that E3 even if it's sounds supported. You can compare his lows to taeil/jaehyun and Xiaojun who tend to put more fullness at the lower part of the 3rd octave and notice the difference

@@himi_ I don't want to elaborate more, like what I've said Doyoung could be an AA-P if he improves his Bb4/B4. I've mentioned already before that Doyoung is already better than Seungkwan. I didn't overrate Doyoung, it is up for you now, but i do respect you. You have opinion, and i have an opinion too.

@@himi_Agree, even though his approach prevents the tuning of resonance, his singing is quite smooth and doesn't get stuck. I think he's now Mid AA.

@@Manaphy06 I don't think he's below K.will, although I have to admit, I'm not too familiar with him. I have heard some of his belting tho and I'd say Doyoung sounds more developed.

There's ton kpop idol with good high note. But only few good in low note, especially male

I like that he opens his mouth wider which allows for less compression. If he learns and understands "Twang" more will help him develop his mixed voice techniques in his style. 2:23 -2:55 I don't like this part at all. I'm not sure if this was Doyoung's intention or not because the quality of each performance is quite the same. The sound has more medial compression, pushed, less control and issue vibrato,It all makes it sound stuck.
