At 18, in 2016, I flew to Australia with a one way ticket. I was scared but I got the hand of it pretty quickly. Met my boyfriend at the time after 4 months and bought a van to travel all the east cost. This playlist was almost on repeat everyday while driving. These songs are filled with beautiful images that I will cherish for the rest of my life. 25 years old me, can’t thank you enough for posting this video again 🙏🏽

2014 to 2017 was the lofi Golden Era. 2016 was the absolute peak, hands down. I remember spending so many nights smoking weed on my backporch, looking at all the trees, and having Axian and Neotic mixtapes playing back-to-back. The music really says "shit might suck right now, but everything is going to be okay." Life has definitely changed since then. Thanks, Axian. The experience and memories are invaluable and irreplaceable.

idk if you’ll ever see this but this mix has been with me for several years and i never got tired of it, i listen to it on long car rides, while playing games, while sleeping anything basically. i don’t know if i could say it saved my life but it was there for me when i needed it. even the several years it was gone i looked for reuploads and basically every song on here is in my top lofi songs of all time, so yeah thank you.

So glad you reposted the video! One of my all time lofi mixes. I love lofi so much, but I don’t really know individual artists or songs, instead I grow attached to mixes like this on KZbin that masterfully piece together these tracks and weave a narrative or mood that I can keep coming back to. Dozing off again has gotten me through some amazing times and some tough times throughout my life especially during college. It gave me nostalgia for a time I never knew.
