I cried at Lars and the Real Girl. The end was so emotional. Who would have thought it.

So insightful about gene wilder -/ it’s absolutely true. And I never made the connection before but I can absolutely see the influence of Gene Wilder on Ryan Goslimg. Sweet and childlike with a dangerous edge that can he can snap to. It’s why he is such an interesting actor to watch.

I was surprised that no one mentioned Patricia Clarkson and her role as the doctor..I thought her approach and patience were pivotal to how things would develop in Lars's life..

Ah! I think this may be the first video I've seen with your face on camera. It's nice to finally put a face to the voice I've heard on so many of your interviews! :D

seriously - this was a fantastic film and you have an open dialogue that's really fascinating then you start on the same old same old - what do you think about people asking about your love life. BORING. I DON'T CARE - I want to hear about the film and the character's and their process. Wasted opportunity to fully explore this remarkable little piece of cinema

i think this is around the time he was cast in lovely bones and put on a stack of weight for the role. mark whalberg ended up replacing him due to creative differences with he and peter jackson. gosling would have made the film a lot better.

Gene Wilder is one of my heros, Gosling's gone up in my estimation straight away although I can't get all the hoopla around him at least he doesn't take himself too seriously. PS, anyone else think The Notebook is one of the worse films ever? That's why I can't like him even though he's a good actor.
@misspettigrewful11 жыл бұрын
oh i know haha. i think it's a good idea he didn't do it though as the movie wasn't very well received. probably more of a problem on peter jackson's end than even the almighty ryan gosling could fix.
