I was staring at Saoirse for 27 minutes, mesmerized by her beauty. Then I realized I didn't pay attention to the interview and had to replay it... ...and then the same thing happened again

It's sad really, I don't think Neil really gets as much credit as he deserves. His films are amazing.

Thank you for referring to Saoirse as an actor and not actress. Not sure but I don't call a female plumber a plumberette. Simply one of my pet peeves.

I don't see much of a problem with using the word actress. And plumberette was never big, so yea.

I like Neil Jordan as an artist and as a person (he seems a likable fellow), but it fucks me a little the way he always touches and greases his hair...

+Hathaway Alfred Radio interviews are better for about everything. I miss the old days of Butcher Boy and The Good Thief. In some odd way, David Cronenberg is taking up the mantle, with his excellent Cosmopolis, Spyder, A History of Violence, and especially, Spider. I was such a fan of The Good Thief that I found out where they got Nick Nolte's shirts in it. Super hip. Super hip movie, too. But what happened to the female star? Nutsa Kukhianidze? She was a revelation....
