A Peek Into an Exclusive DP Offline Event at the Palimpsest House in Madurai 🤍✨
In collaboration with @sumanth.co, DP curated a special art and design showcase that brought together talented designers from around the country working who are with design and playing with materials in interesting new ways. This showcase also marked the closing of the @chettinadheritageculturalfest with an intimate dinner put together by Chef Vichithra Rajasinghe alongside musical performances and special announcements.
A five-day event, The Chettinad Heritage and Cultural Festival was a harmonious blend of history, art, and flavours, making it an event that truly encapsulates the essence of Chettinad’s cultural legacy. The showcase at the Palimpsest House served as a beautiful bridge between the traditional artistic and cultural legacy in the Chettinad region and contemporary art and design that has permeated the Indian market. The showcases included exquisite pieces like handwoven rugs, ornate furniture and decor pieces that transcend traditional interior design.
