She is consistently great. And Inside Llewyn Davis is one of my favourite movies of the year - loved every second of it.

she's not what I pictured of Daisy, but she did give this character justice I think. and she always chose really really good parts! any movie if Carey is in it you know it's gonna be good :)

I really love your interviews with actors and directors - lots of questions of substance, which is so fascinating. But fun too.

Hey Davy (can I call you _Davy_?), I am not sure it is a good thing to hear for an interviewer, but you have a great chemistry with Mulley (I wonder if I can call her _Mulley_. *Probably not*). It might sound weird because interviewers are expected to let the interviewee speak. And shine. And are supposed to fade in the background. And the ones that don't (we all know the ones) are severely whooped for that. So Polly (can I call you _Polly_?), take it as you want. Apart from that, it was a pleasant interview. So kudos. But then again, Ms. Mulligan has that quality that makes things seem interesting and intimate and effortless. So maybe Daisy (I am positive I *cannot* call her _Daisy_) did the heavy lifting, here. Who knows? Not me. I am never invited for press events. Nice job.😉 PS: don't get wrong, I like Carey Mulligan very much. And I regret my poor jokes already.

The interviewer needs to ask himself this: if interviewing a male actor about directors he’d like to work with, would he ask “Are there any directors you’re crushing on?” I really doubt it.
@davidpoland62575 жыл бұрын
Will Smiff I ask it all the time to actors of all genders and colors. I don’t know about the word “crushing,” but you are reading too much into it.

Hi DP, you do great interviews. Great conversations, really. Having just watched your one with Michael Fassbender for Fish Tank I wonder if that's where you got the impression he'd said he was happy to sell out? the last ten seconds or so of that interview. But if you watch it it's more like he says 'yeah yeah yeah' to a comment you made. It's a bit of a leap to extrapolate from that to him being happy to sell out. Anyway - you do a great job, keep it up.

manIamtheman She was probably bumptiously asking for photo/or/autograph when Mulligan was in a hurry. That's usually the circumstance for spurned "fans" holding a grudge and bitching about a star for years online.
