I could listen to Guillermo speak all day. He is so eloquent and seems to love what he does.

I'm like only 20 minutes into this interview. And del Toro answer's every question but also adds these mind-blowing thoughts he has on top. There are some words I missed because of his accent here and there, but still... this man is a master artist. Pan's Labyrinth is my favorite of all his works. Still, I love the fact he only does monster-related films.

Thank you for the insightful interview, DP/30! Listening to the interview with Guillermo del Toro actually brought tears to my eyes! A master storyteller whose goal is to rescue the gothic romance genre, as in Crimson Peak, NOT cash in on a quick buck from a tired Hollywood formula movie, Mr. del Toro's words resonate of professional and personal integrity.

I love your conversations, they always feel so down to earth and just a regular conversation over a cup of tea. I can't wait for the next episodes. Hoping that Jessica Chastein and Tom Hiddleston will be on next. As well as Cate Blanchett for Carol.

Now that Hideo Kojima no longer works for Konami, hopefully we'll see Guillermo and Kojima team back up to make their version of Silent Hills. This game would be an instant CLASSIC.

Funny that he wanted to have the house sink at the end of Peak that is exactly what i found the movie was missing because after the siblings are gone that house is just going to sit till it rots? I felt it needed full closure. A great simple line would have been to have Thomas say to Edith when he is talking about the condition of the house "Sometimes I feel it is our will power alone that keeps it standing" and as a possible technical explanation of it sinking is the dredge machine is working but is undermining the house my dredging up more of the liquid clay the irony of how many robs the earth and pays for his shortsightdness would have been a nice touch. I think it would have been awesome as the final stabbing blows hit Thomas that the hole in the ceiling starts to expand as chunks of the rotting timbers fall more and more and then the final outside scene to have the house collapse in on itself and sink into the mines below and have the blood red liquid clay rise up and flow over it till only the ground is covered with the crimson covered snow.....that would have been awesome and should have been done even if it did cost a million or so....

Occasionally, I like to go on DEKZbinS(trademark) and check to see what William of the Bull aka Guillermo Del Toro is doing. I love his films and his mellow DOWN TO EARTH way of being with his fans. He is an AWESOME GUY.. May you have A LOT MORE SUCCESSES in the FUTURE WILLIAM OF THE BULL = GUILLERMO DEL TORO

A. Most Spanish people are white. B. Guillermo del Toro is Mexican, not Spanish. C. Lots of Mexicans are white, as many of them have European origins (such as Spain, which, again, is full of white people).
