You’re the best interviewer ever, the way you create conversations and not “interviewes” is stunning, you navigate through the interviews so skillfully making the actor give a lot while being funny, deep, and professional, I just love this channel

seen the Movie twice, 1st to understand the Film... 2nd, to understand the acting & directing... the Directing makes the simply-complicated plot somewhat complex, while Emily becomes somebody she's really not... really Superb Acting...

Does anyone else notice that she does a Jim Halpert look to camera around 24:20? Makes sense she's married to John Krasinski.

Use a simple single color bold/heavy font so it shows up when the image is shrunk down. Like Helvetica Neue Bold. Be consistent. Keep in the same spot at the same size. White text with a light black glow shows up against anything.

Is it just me or does Emily switch between a British and American accent depending on which country the interview takes place in?

This guy has always asked or commented inane and sexist things in the interviews with female actors. There's at least one in every video interview with a female actor. 6:19 and 7:32 here for example is just embarrassing for any interviewer to ask. This is a good format for an interview, there are longer conversations and funny moments, and there can be good ideas in concept. But the execution... he can be rather obnoxious with the women sometimes. I haven't seen new interviews so maybe this aspect has changed. But older ones are riddled with this.

I made a point of checking this out as I recall this being a very happy interview. And it was. Discussing how a woman is perceived by men is now me being creepy? If you say so. One of the reasons she is a great guest is that she goes with real conversation. Apparently, you would like me to pretend the world is a fairy tale and beauty is not an issue in Hollywood. To each their own, I guess. Thanks for watching.

@@dp30 I'm not trying to admonish you personally, I don't know you, I'm only critiquing your interview style that is (or was?) common in your videos with female actors. I obviously don't know Blunt either and she seemed to take everything in stride here and had a solid interaction, but it's very perceivable that these videos with female actors had questions and comments being phrased in a sexist way. Take it or leave it, it's fine if you disagree and you're far from the only male interviewer that does that, I'm just commenting how I see it.

I don't want to say much, as I feel that it may spark conflict, or upheaval, but I do agree with this perception. Even if the intention was not to be sexist, I think it's important to phrase questions a little more thoughtfully as at points, it was uncomfortable. As said, I think Emily handled each question well and the interview was great, but there were a couple questions, in my personal opinion that weren't, at least, sensitively asked. I don't think there was any harm in this critical comment, and the interview was still entertaining and lovely to watch, but as said before, some questions just needed a little more thought to it, as while Emily seems to have taken each one well, and she probably did, I'm just assuming here - I dont know her, for those watching and for maybe other guests, that can be quite risky to ask questions like that of a certain nature, thus coming across as sexist.

Sorry, Em, but you gotta watch Jean Cocteau's Beauty and the Beast. Disney's is way inferior. Also watch Thief Of Baghdad 1940. Way better than Aladdin.

“As Men can be, Ambiguous and threatening” I think she is just joking. Women can be equally “ambiguous and threatening”, humans can. 25mins in she has mentioned 7 amazing guys. I am a feminist. I am getting SO tired of watching my favourite actresses and the interviewers demonising men. I am gay and no longer feel “part of the club” with women like I used to just because I have a penis. Don’t alienate your allies please. Race and sex is such a basic way to divide people. We all need to unite to protect the planet 🌍. If you care about the environment think about your kids
