5:50 2024: warching an Indian american singer/rapper play at an event put on my an evolutionary biologist shouting out a platform owned by the real-life Iron Man, a white African after listening to a british comedian and canadian professor rif and pray, a Kennedy and a beautiful woman soldier who have both fought for this country their whole lives... its breathtaking. I need to find a more meaningful way to express my gratitude. For today, I see you and am grateful.

It has to be said, but the crowd shots are pathetic but with ONE HUGE caveat: There should be some kind of disclaimer explaining that a democrat rally or liberal flagship event would seem to have many more people is because a majority of the attendants are specifically chosen to represent certain demographics of which there is a well-funded NGO for that specific group identity who will arrange transportation, accommodations, meals, and even pay them to be there. This event although not well attended was attended by people who paid their own way and arranged to be there, people who have families or jobs that they need to schedule life around and could not just easily just show up to an event because they have no one depending on them in their life.

The attendance was definitely disappointing, but the crowd shots still don’t do it justice. The sound system was amazing and the people were very spread out, with many seeking shelter in nearby groves of trees and seated way back around the Washington Monument.

The weather forecast was very bad, but it ended up not raining at all. I think that definitely has an affect on attendance, but like itmspartacus mentioned, the camera shots don't do justice to the number of people actually there

I also wanted to add that during a lot of the music and lesser known speakers people would wander to interact at booths or get food, use the bathroom, etc. the Matt Taibbi video (and some of the other big speakers) shows some better crowd pans
