Animo were commissioned by DPD to create video content that could be used to present their award-winning new service, Parcel Wizard, to an international conference of logistics experts. This content specifically needed to explain the logistical requirement for this service, as well as illustrating how the idea was formulated and how it worked.
Despite being under extremely limited time constraints, Animo produced a video that covered all the key components of the service that DPD wanted to highlight to the conference. Both the beginning and end of the video shows animated versions of the DPD logo and the Parcel Wizard mascot, framing the content nicely.
In the video, the audience is introduced to all the major stakeholders involved in this project within the DPD Company. Through face-to-face interviews with these individuals, we were able to set out the primary objective of this service: providing customers with a positive experience of e-commerce and giving them more control with deliveries.
These interviews are mixed together in parts of the video, giving the viewer a synchronised explanation of the product from the different actors involved in DPD. This shows the audience that DPD are an organised and unified company, capable of successfully completing major projects in unison.
The resulting video was a hugely successful piece of content that was fit for purpose: being shown at a logistics conference. It aptly described the niche in the market for a logistical service like DPD’s Parcel Wizard, and also showed how their organisation managed to bring the project to fruition in a unified manner.
