Agree: the way they arranged this is soooo delicious. Dirty Loops are masters at their reimagining of songs.

Super super interesting breakdown of that song!! Henrik’s almost acoustic-style sound in here is just so beautiful… and the way in which he swings :) The jazz, the pocket and that deep groove!! 😱😱😱😱 Simon Petrén, their sound engineer -check him out when you get a chance. There isn’t much about him on the tube, apart from two videos or so, in which he discusses his way of mixing, mastering and creating, in conversation with others. But I found them fascinating, and very telling about the way in which Dirty Loops sound and work. This cover here has fast become a total favourite of mine. Can’t remember now if you have reacted to their tune “When the Time is Right”. Back then people said that that song was showcasing Jonah, the song before that was ‘Henrik’s’ (“Run Away”), and they were waiting for Aron to be featured in an upcoming one. Well this here sure features Aron. It’s unbelievable, his playing. But then, I always think with every DLoops song that all three of them are contributing equally to making every song a masterpiece… Anyways, very much enjoyed your insights from a producer’s and drummer’s point of view. Thanks a ton 🙏 And I agree, Stevie at least should take a listen to this cover ✌️☺️🤘👍

@@fiddlestix3025 omg ! I watched a short clip on Simon and I was very impressed with him. Also I absolutely love the jazz sections of the w but man Ahren just blew me away on this track!

@ loved your insights on Aron’s drumming -to me as an instrumentalist but a non-drummer they’re gold. What gets me is his use of polyrhythms and syncopations -completely does my head in 😱 as well as the setup of his set here in this video. How many cymbals, snares and toms do you want?? Is that a jazz thing? and yeah, it’s interesting to get an insight into Simon Petrén’s mind. He’s been called the 4th member of Dirty Loops, even by DL themselves ☺️

@ my tour kit had 14 cymbals on it for so many different things. Also I’ve noticed he loves to throw in polyrhythms right before he is about to switch tempos as well. Or to cover up a weird chord progression that may be weird to transition

What a great reaction! I love how you pay attention to Aron. He is a great drummer, producer of the videoclips and writes a lot of the bassparts! I sometimes feel he's really underestimated. I love your comparison with food 😂. As a non-musician I really appreciate your breakdown of the song ❤
