Love your reactions, excited to see DPR IAN on here (thought you already had reacted to him lol). "Dont go insane" isn't really meant to be a halloween song, but it does fit very well. You will definetly love all his stuff!! i recommend "so beautiful" his solo debut, and "Peanut butter & tears" another song from his latest EP. (will also mention that all of his stuff relates to his bipolar disorder, which in my book just makes everything THAT much more interessting)

DPR Ian has three releases so far, and each one of them has a different vibe, although they all share musical elements that gives his music its own personality. His production is very interesting, and has grown in complexity with each release, and to me, his latest EP is the most interesting and accomplished in that regard. It's really an album to sit down and LISTEN to, although the same can be said of his previous releases too. I'd say his first album MITO (Moodswings in this Order) is more song driven, while MIITO (Moodswings in to Order) is more about vibes and atmosphere. The recent one, "Dear Insanity...", feels like the marriage of the first two. He is telling a story with each release, and with the latest one , a different "character" or personality is speaking through, that's why both musically and visually the latest MVs look so different to the previous ones, which were a lot darker. As a side note, he also directs his own videos, so what you see is his vision from top to bottom.

Hello! I genuinely enjoyed your reaction and your break down of the music! DPR IAN is an amazing artist! If you decide to learn more about his art - you will not waist your time. Ian is a founder and a chief of the DPR company, it’s fully independent artist collective. There are a few other artists in this team, but speaking of Ian, he writes his music and lyrics, also he directs and edits all his MVs. He has a team of help, but what you see is fully his creation! I have a ton of respect for this man. Thank you for your reaction! By the way - the spooky theme of this MV is not related to Halloween, there is the story line going on thought all his mvs. If you like to learn more - check the DPR channel, his first song is “So beautiful”. It's a warning to not head towards a manic high (Mr Insanity), because you will end up on the other side and insane. I learned today that Ian's family, and friends, and staff turn off his WiFi when Mr Insanity is on the scene to prevent mishaps. This album is more funk / disco which is what Ian associates with Mr Insanity [his manic highs] in contrast to his MITO albums. The best MV in my opinion is "SERAPH | 1 SHOT | MOOD | RIBBON | OFFICIAL MIITO MOVIE (PART I)"

Actually, I was thinking if you had already reacted to DPR Ian, or were planning to, but since in the eyes of many he is not strictly Kpop, not sure if it was on your schedule. Would love to see your reaction to his latest EP, if you are inclined to do so. I'm sure you will love it.
