I love you DPR Ian reactions Anthony! So here is a little explanation to this song and what in means in the story and to Ian personally. In this song, Ian stated that he is the "Hybrid" of his two sides MITO and Mr. Insanity. (Which could be why we see the full Mr. Insanity at the end of the video like you pointed out) He said that this is when he is between the most insane parts of Mr. Insanity and the darkest parts of MITO when he switches. (Also you seeing the butterflies around Mr. Insanity could reference that as well) He also uses the metaphor of "Limbo" as between heaven and hell because his stodyline has a sort of biblical aspect to it. (MITO is like a fallen angel in the storyline, hence the scene of Ian having wings for a split second in this MV) Since this character is new to his storyline and has never been seen before, not that much has been revealed, but fans speculate that the blue eyes seen in this MV are a sign that it is the Hybrid (just as MITO is missing an eye most of the time and Mr. Insanity has golden/multi colored eyes) Also I have a little theory that Ravens/birds could be a sign of the Hybrid because in many of Ians MVs he will purposely place a bird in a shot in editing and I feel like they all might be a representation of the Hybrid. But hey thats just my personal theory. Also, idk if you know this or not, but a little bit ago Ian put out a demo song called "SKINS" that he didn't promote that much. It is an absolutely beautiful and haunting song. Skins is quite possibly the most vulnerable song Ian has EVER released. It is a song that MITO fully made on his own and Ian doesn't even remember making most of it. When Ian finally got back from that state, he was left with the song SKINS and he decided to just release it as it was. Ian has said that SKINS is the most true representation of MITO in the real world and not in the story, just in Ians life. Also, Ian said that MITO went out and FILMED the MV with one of Ians good friends at DPR which is absolutely crazy to think about since Ian doesn't really remember it. Well anyway, as always, loved the reaction and I hope you check out more DPR Ian music in the future!
